I’ve been running a project this week for Y10 work experience, not something I’ve ever done before. This is what they came up with, designed and built from scratch from foamboard and 3D printed parts. It has a brushless generator.

When it’s a day like today and you’re listening to Bob Harris’s Sounds of the 70s on the way home from work in your electric VW bus, waiting for trains is no problem.

I’ve replaced the frame on our Ikea Poäng chair because the fabric on the base gave up the ghost. Interesting to note the design changes to make it cheaper to manufacture but harder to put together. All the horizontal slats used to come glued in, now you have […]
