#Coremaths The task uses an infographic about flying habits in England. The data presentation caught a lot of them out at first (understandably) but as they considered the claims their understanding improved.

If air travel was brought inline with road travel then all fights would need a 100% tax as petrol/diesel price is about 50% taxes. And most people aren't driving for leisure...

And almost all flights are leisure and not business. A tax on air travel that only starts on the 3rd trip would only hit 10% of people but over 50% of flights.

You say 1939 like it's just any old date and doesn't have profound and wide reaching historical meaning. Please show some respect and use the year's proper title of "Origin Story Interval"
