Democracy fails when a state official can block an election for a federal office. A non partisan federal election commission should oversee process of filling seat when a member of congress leaves office before their term ends.

It’s an outstanding project widely supported within the ranks of NPS, despite the insipid action of quislings at the top. Climate disruption won’t go away, and in one form or another, the valuable tools this project developed for NPS interpreters won’t go away either.

In response to Trump’s blatant siding with Putin against Ukraine, veterans organizations and others who care about freedom must clearly state that Trump, Vance, & their supporters in Congress have become Russian dupes who are putting the security of the US and Western Europe at risk.

Since the majority of people on Medicaid are white, perhaps their elderly parents moving in with them because the parents can no longer afford to stay in a nursing home will get their attention.
