Still only 48 out of 236 polls reporting in Edmonton’s mayoral election. Andrew Knack is maintaining his lead over Tim Cartmell. Counting restarts at 9:00am.

I briefly logged in to Edmonton mayoral candidate Tim Cartmell’s zoom town hall tonight. I logged out shortly after he talked about how bad his council colleagues have been to him for the past 4 years before he then started talking about how he’s really good at working as part of a team. 🙄

📢A few thousand Alberta teachers showed up today to make some noise outside of Premier Danielle Smith’s speech to the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce at Rogers Place. More than 51,000 teachers have been on strike since October 6.

Former city councillor Tony Caterina announces that former councillor and past mayoral candidate Mike Nickel has endorsed him in the Edmonton mayor’s race.
Despite two consecutive polls showing a three-way race between Michael Walters, Andrew Knack and Tim Cartmell, Cartmell’s Be Better Edmonton Party continues to send out emails saying it’s a two-way race between Cartmell and Knack. It gives away who his campaign thinks the real threat is (Walters).
