Fun fact, Jackie Robinson, years before Rosa Parks, was tried at Court-Martial for sitting on a whites only bus in the military. In showing how the military is often ahead of the rest of society, he was acquitted.
The Department of Defense deemed a story about baseball hero and civil rights leader Jackie Robinson's time in the Army as "DEI" and deleted it.
