By far the funniest example of Musk's jerkoff machine in action that I've seen.

The main entrance is guarded by hand-crafted wooden Plants vs. Zombies totems. It's a fun little thing to greet me every day when I arrive.

And yeah, better days are on the horizon. Just need to stay the course!

Oh, those are by far my favourite. They were all over the place in Ontario when I was growing up. Here in British Columbia we have "Steller's Jay," which is alright I guess, but much less visually interesting.

That just reminded me! We're just a couple of weeks away from the release of the annual "Till Death Do Us Blart" podcast!

I think I like this one most of all just for its simplicity. It looks like it could be a year-1 design alongside Loki and Mag and those early frames, but these are all fantastically authentic to the game's core aesthetic without any of them feeling derivative. Remarkable imagination!

I was speaking to my brother on Discord about this earlier this morning.

The level of cynical greed here is just unimaginable.

Speaking to my right-wing brother about his disembarkation from the Trump train and how he's turned to organized religion as his replacement illusion of moral authority. It frankly strikes me as a juvenile approach to the subject at hand. Trading one exploitative set of predators for another.

Visually and conceptually one of the better attempts to modernise his classic but sadly dated original design. Does any of the thin-limb aesthetic here owe any inspiration to his Transformers Prime depiction?

I feel like I would have been tempted to respond "I was already doing exactly what you're telling me to do and you detained me anyway. What steps could I have taken which would have prevented this encounter from taking place?" But that could easily be seen as antagonistic provocation.

Depends upon the situation and the company that he's in.

Banana, kiwi and blackberry here, for instance!

I saw those photos and have been trying to figure out the thought process. Is it possible that the mom - unable to secure actual helmets - was like "I can simulate the black of the visor with face paint" and got carried away?

Kevin Eastman (co-creator of the Ninja Turtles) just did a cover for a Venom comic this week and it's amazing just what a blast from the past this entire assthetic is.

Back when I was doing comedic re-writes of Bendis's "All-New X-Men," I'd have taken issue with the idea that the X-Men's greatest and most insidious enemy would ever have a place on the team.

It seems like all of these "Marvel Premier Collection" books have this sort of minimalistic trade dress. I can see what they were going for, but it could use a bit more pizzaz.

Model them on the cast of characters from "Dream Daddy."

Counterpoint: Incredible Hulk fucking kicks ass, and @nicklein.bsky.social ain't trying to be anyone but his own authentic self.

Chatting with my friend Paul, he asked me to share my thoughts on the ways in which the modern world seeks to isolate us from shared interests and the sense of community which arises from that act. I typed this out in about four minutes. Too long to copy/paste here, but perhaps worth sharing!

It's a great cover design in terms of honouring the original design aesthetic but presenting it to a modern audience. I have this more-minimalistic one at home.
