It's been a few months since the last time I did this, so I've updated my second starter pack of artists with another 50 or so artists for 2026, bringing this pack to roughly 100 artists to make your timeline more colourful!

And here, the classic pack:

This is deliberate cruelty and while I doubt anyone involved is capable of shame, I would still like them named, shamed and exiled from civil society.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

I knew Grimm's fables were pretty dark, but some of them seem to have been written purposefully as a time capsule to frighten the future.

Gotta diversify your portfolio. Come up with something to really stand out in your field. Invent some new letters nobody else knows how to write so you can carve out a really specific, irreplacable niche!

Using generative AI is bad enough, but misleading people to get commissions and patreon support is shameful. I'm tired of grifters taking advantage of people that just want to support artists.

There is a very plausible scenario I can see where ten years from now, all of these companies are either out of business or have vastly stripped back what this technology can do because they can never make it profitable. People talk about the 2020s as "that decade when they had that AI stuff."

If artists depicting these beasts weren't COWARDS they would give them forelimbs which were big beefy Trogdor-style arms, fitting to haul the massive serpentine bodies along the ground.

They could sleep on their arms until they are of sufficient mass to get 'er done.
