This is a lovely thought except that the poster itself recommends against it with cop zip ties. And the instructions suggest making the tie tighter first which would be very bad if you couldn’t break them.
*Note: This technique can break through standard zip ties rated at roughly 50-120 pounds of tensile strength. You'll want to think twice before trying it on the extra-thick, heavy-duty kind often employed by cops. Our testers all failed to get out of 9 mm-wide 200-pound zip ties by following these directions.

In reading this book, I am reminded of that RATM line, whispered as if to avoid ignition, “anger is a gift.” It appears to be true for @taliabhatt.itch.io too, but doused in kerosene. Trans/Rad/Fem is nothing if not compelling.
What actually compelled me to transition, then, was the same feeling I've harbored all my life, the same corrosive wrongness that I experienced as years upon years of swallowing poison, of being force-fed an unacceptable ideology until I had no choice but to puke it all up. I, simply put, could not be a man. I refused. I REFUSE to be a man. I **REFUSE** to be a man. This is an uncomfortable thing for people to hear, in my experience, and I've only ever rarely found others who would describe their desire to transition in this way.

This may seem obtuse but ever consider grad school at the University of California? I have no idea if this is realistic, but my student health insurance (covered by my teaching assistant job) covers gender affirming surgery. Sorry if this is unreasonable, just trying to think outside the box.

Gender affirming surgery is covered only when performed with a UC Family or Network Provider. Coverage includes, but is not limited to, Medically Necessary services related to Gender Transition such as gender affirming surgery (i.e., female to male top surgery, female to male bottom surgery, male to female top surgery and male to female bottom surgery), hormone therapy, fertility preservation, psychotherapy, electrolysis and laser hair removal, facial reconstruction, tracheal shave, and vocal training. Coverage is provided for specific services according to benefits under this Benefit Booklet that apply to that type of service generally if the Plan includes coverage for the service in question. For example, gender affirming surgery would be covered on the same basis as any other Network covered, Medically Necessary surgery or hormone therapy would be covered under this Benefit Booklet's benefits. Some services are subject to precertification in order for coverage to be provided. Please refer to "Getting Approval for Benefits" for information on how to obtain the proper reviews.

I know folks in 2 households living in Altadena—both of their houses are gone. Just that city is 42k people. It looks from fire maps that its all in flames. Thats a lot of instant unhousing (not to mention already existing unhoused folks that seem to be missing from stories).Wild, terrible.

Hillside homebuilding, moreover, has despoiled the natural heritage of the majority for the sake of an affluent minority. Instead of protecting "significant ecological areas" as required by law, county planning commissions have historically been the malleable tools of hillside developers. Much of the beautiful coastal-sage and canyon- riparian ecosystems of the Santa Monica Mountains have been supplanted by castles and "guard-gate prestige." Elsewhere in Southern California-in the Verdugo, Puente, San Jose, San Joaquin, and San Raphael hills, as well as the Santa Susana, Santa Ana, and San Gabriel mountains-tens of thousands of acres of oak and walnut woodland have been destroyed by bulldozers to make room for similar posh developments.
