I love this show! If you haven't read the book "The first fifteen lives of Harry August" then I heartily recommend it. A lot of the ideas in the show have definitely been influenced by it.

You only need to look at what happened in Russia with news media companies that were forced to tow Putins line or have their licences yanked.

Heartily agree on Rivers of London. There was an attempt to adapt it not long after it came out i seem to remember, but it clearly didn't happen.
I'd also like to see an adaptation of Joe Abercrombies First Law books. I'm not a huge fantasy fan, but I've binged this series during the last year.
