People keep using the word "civil" to describe Kirk. Civility means being good to your fellow people! I don't think it's civil to call for public executions and spread anti-semitic and racist theories! I don't think it matters what tone you say those things in!

If only there were some explanation for why people in academia might move politically... surely it's happening all on its own and not a response to anything else.

Today I learned Missouri Republicans were not burning books. Now, MO has banned books from schools and libraries, and the senator is anti-sex ed and pro-flamethrower. But I'm disturbed at how easily misinfo can spread. People were even making claims about what specific books were being burned.
