So all the flight cancellations have been playing havoc with my flight tomorrow. My flight remains okay, but inbound planes were cancelled several times. Other flights to the and airport have been cancelled.

Just got an update that my plane has been swapped, again.

I'm happy to see #DataGovernance and #DataManagement coming to storage solutions. Do you think this is a good thing? Do you know if your storage or infrastructure teams are thinking about these needs?

This was me last night. I had been coding something fun with space data and got past a certain point and said to myself “okay, you stayed up way too late. Don’t start the next part. Go to bed.”

I was certain it was after midnight. Looked at my watch and…

IT WAS ONLY 5:37 PM.

Yup. That’s me.

I used to hope against all odds that my trees would still have leaves on for Halloween so I could uplight them.

It’s the first week of Nov and they are mostly still on the trees. We’ve even had massive winds for days.

🌳 🍁 🍂 💨 ⛈️ ⚡️ 🍃
Some parts of Canada have seen their first snowfall of the season already, or will be this week. While it's certainly not unusual to see snow in the autumn, the first time it occurs can often come as a shock to many drivers.
Why the first snowfall of the season can catch drivers by surprise - The Weather Network
The calendar says fall, but that doesn't stop Mother Nature from sending snow onto the roads across Canada. The first time it occurs in the season can often catch many drivers by surprise

Midnight was a cat who lived at the same complex as Ellie. The people who were feeding him moved away recently & left him behind. He turned up thin & injured. Ellie’s adopters took him in & got him med attention but he can’t stay—

I am still frustrated that #LinkedIn requires us to leave any group we have in common with someone we need to block.

I can guess the technical reason, but I can’t phantom why product teams still want this process.

On Sportsnet pregame: “I think Halloween is a made up holiday.”

Oh, sweetie.

“It’s my least favourite holiday”

That’s sad.

So a tiny girl came to the door carrying a talking Chucky doll bigger than her. That was actually scary.

I’m vectorizing #space #data while waiting for #Halloween visitors. It’s super cold and the windchill is 2°, so I’m wondering if I will get any.

I’ve put up a lot of Halloween decorations. Already. I have some bigger things to install that technically are supposed to stay up until at least Monday.

It’s cold — going to be 7°/44° at dusk. At least I might not be raining

It means I will get maybe 20 visitors, mostly teenagers, but

Is it bad I want to hand out alcohol free beer to parents who come to the door on Halloween? I’ve always wanted to give wine, but I know some have to drive.

And I wouldn’t want to serve 0 proof wine to even my enemies.

The other issue is it’s going to be Jonny a few degrees above freezing
