Big wins for Covalen members of the Digital and Techworkers Alliance (DATA) 💪

Despite the bosses saying no, they’ve secured a pay increase and elected their first health and safety reps, a vital step in ensuring safer, fairer working conditions.

Over 500 workers at Covalen participated in electing new Health & Safety Representatives 🙌, marking a huge win for safer, stronger workplaces.

In fast-paced tech environments, safety isn’t just physical; it’s about mental health, workload, and speaking up.

The workers training AI at Covalen face some of the most horrific conditions we’ve heard in years, traumatic content, low pay, and zero recognition.

While tech giants rake in billions, these workers are left in the shadows, unsupported, unheard, and underpaid.

Over 100 Covalen workers contracted by META are standing up. Underpaid, under protected, and exposed to traumatic content, these workers have joined DATA CWU and are organising for change.
