Reluctant misanthrope. Midwestern atheist. Curious scientist. Descendant of two American Revolutionary War officers and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. I also like pickles.
This is not a “crackdown.” It is invasion. Military is not requested and not wanted, to the point of lawsuits, and Trump is doing it anyway. That is invasion. Meanwhile, citizens beg for government help from FEMA and get nothing.

The entirety of the current United States government has attended the Buford School of Management. This is their current maturity level. “Hit the deck, boy!”

Every single photo I’ve ever seen of this guy looks like he has just taken direction to try to look as Nazi as possible. Like, his motivation is “make it so people can easily picture you in an SS uniform in a movie about Nazis.” He nails it every time.

Rewatching Alice in Borderland from the beginning before starting Season 3. Fantastic show. #AliceInBorderland #Chishiya

I read “Bartleby, the Scrivener,” by Herman Melville, sophomore year in college, for my English minor.

I found it very amusing when recently looking at old organic chemistry notebooks, to see “I would prefer not to” scribbled in the margins.

Please make sure to mention the loophole for companies for whom Kristi Noem deems should receive a waiver for this $100,000 fee. Hmm, that doesn’t seem like an opportunity for discrimination at all.

The Song of the Lark, Jules Breton, 1884.

I went to the Art Institute of Chicago many times, and I walked straight to this painting every time. Easily one of my top ten. Looking at a print of it online is not at all the same as seeing it in person.

The guy from the cleaning service at my work left his cell phone in my office and pulled the locked door closed behind him. Rather than coming back later to get his phone, he decided to rip out my doorknob to get his phone. My friend, what in the world was on your phone?

My 2 1/2 year-old dog Bravery gets all the attention, but this dog does not deserve to be ignored because he’s an older guy. He’s 12 1/2 now, and he has been the most loyal, affectionate, and perfect dog I have ever known. This is Courage. He is extraordinary.

Maybe he should stop putting his name all over stuff.

Don’t worry everyone. Trucker Hat Baby Hands is in control.

I definitely thought he had some kind of bizarre wig on in this photo.

Bravery, almost 2 years ago. Sploot! He was chewing a piece of cardboard. It doesn’t take much to make him happy.

On my third viewing of this outstanding series on Netflix. Marvelously funny, with a brilliant cast.

I tell these two all the time that our pack is one ape and two dogs, but somehow the ape is not in charge

I have been driving German cars for the past 10 years, but this is my current car. I have to say I love this Volvo. It handles so smoothly, it’s so quiet, and the stereo is so good. This absolutely feels like a luxury car. I guess Audis and Volvos are my favorite cars.

I was 15 when Top Gun came out, and I will admit that Val Kilmer made quite an impression. But Tombstone is the one I have watched over and over, and over. He was a remarkable actor. I’ve heard that he said Doc Holliday was his favorite. Mine, too. I’ve been just heartbroken since yesterday.

These are the top 2 stories on Fox News right now. You can tell exactly what Fox knows is bad by what they try not to report on. The fourth story from the top is about Hunter Biden, btw.

Me: Hey. What’s goin on? It’s after 10.
Bravery: Who me, mom? I wasn’t doing anything. I’m not even awake, I’m asleep.
Me: Yeah but you look awake. And somebody just ran over me.
Bravery: Well I don’t know who that was, Mom. I’ve been right here asleep the whole time.

Need a break from rage-scrolling, so I’m spending some time with this guy. My sweet Courage is such a good boy.

His presidential ranking is fourth from the bottom. He is statistically a terrible president. Like, really bad. The worst in 150 years. This is how history will remember him.

Definitely thought it was a photo of a bunch of these at first, so I suppose I don’t have to tell you what my tax bracket is
