One of the cool things about having kids is sharing stuff I like: books, musics, movies, tv shows, video games, sports, you name it…
Another cool thing is when they share stuff with me. The kind I would never have tried if not for them.

Yesterday's sketch was a quick reaction but today, I took a bit more time to create a finished version.

Feel free to share it with your now ex-friends who "don't really see the problem" or find shitty excuses.

[History Tuesday] No later than this weekend, I was telling my daughters about our family, how a part of them died in extermination camps during WWII (they were Jewish) while another part fought Nazis either as soldiers or as active members of the French Resistance.

Finally done with the illustrations of the Antony and Cleopatra book cover. I also rewrote the plot, my way. I'm really lucky to have daughters who accept my weirdness and allow me to make this kind of funny artwork (remember, this book will be used in class, it won't just sit on a shelf at home).

A few months ago, I got the opportunity to illustrate the December bookmarks for Archonia - an EU online comics shop.
They give free bookmark with every order - I have 30-ish of them - so I was happy they asked.
I went with my favourite OC: Red. She's from a book I've done four or five years ago.

Do you know Antony and Clëauwreigh?

My oldest daughter is studying Antony and Cleopatra (the play) and her book cover is just a big old wiggly sticky animal which I can't bear the view.
I told her I would appreciate it if the book cover was hidden and she suggested I could make a new cover instead.

And finally, check das-art.com to read some free stories, to buy some non-free ones, to check my work and news, eventually to discuss illustration projects or convention attendance or whatever you feel to talk about, TBH…

BTW, the scene is obviously inspired by "Leon, The Professional" 😉
