Yesterday's sketch was a quick reaction but today, I took a bit more time to create a finished version.

[History Tuesday] No later than this weekend, I was telling my daughters about our family, how a part of them died in extermination camps during WWII (they were Jewish) while another part fought Nazis either as soldiers or as active members of the French Resistance.

I really should try to follow my own advice for once since the platform I mainly use starts to stink too…

Finally done with the illustrations of the Antony and Cleopatra book cover. I also rewrote the plot, my way. I'm really lucky to have daughters who accept my weirdness and allow me to make this kind of funny artwork (remember, this book will be used in class, it won't just sit on a shelf at home).

A few months ago, I got the opportunity to illustrate the December bookmarks for Archonia - an EU online comics shop.
They give free bookmark with every order - I have 30-ish of them - so I was happy they asked.
I went with my favourite OC: Red. She's from a book I've done four or five years ago.

Do you know Antony and Clëauwreigh?

My oldest daughter is studying Antony and Cleopatra (the play) and her book cover is just a big old wiggly sticky animal which I can't bear the view.
I told her I would appreciate it if the book cover was hidden and she suggested I could make a new cover instead.

Ok, so everybody is bluesky this, bluesky that, it was the alternative then it wasn't and now it is (again)…
I guess I gonna have to try (again).

Moving from the Big Bad Blue Bird and trying to find the people I used to follow there here takes quite some time… A bit more than expected…
