it's not, and if you've ever had so much as a moment of joy while bad things exist you should be ashamed

the next time you smile at a sunrise, remember: you're smiling with Hitler
Its actually good and okay to try and find moments of joy during the horrors. Dont let anyone shame you for it.

Crazy that these are the only 3 products Amazon shows when you search just "Sabrina Carpenter" it used to also show results for vinyls and merch and other items. Now it's just 3 perfumes and 1 of them isn't even sold on Amazon. Good for them destroying their search feature

If I can be required to respond to a page within 10 minutes while on-call at absolutely any hour as part of my job then literally all of Congress can be required to vote on something within 3 hours which gives a reasonable amount of time for people to give their arguments

"To love the world is to let it crack you open anyway."

@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social just in case you need to read this quote right now.

It resonated with me just now relistening to The Anthropocene Reviewed.

"Live your life. Live your life. Live your life."
We're here because we're here.

Relistening to The Anthropocene Reviewed episodes about COVID fills me with so much rage now in 2026.

Things were bad. They were so bad. And people today just act like it was nothing. It wasn't nothing. It was literally everything those days.

So many people died. How did so many people forget

@adamconover.net I can't seem to find any episodes of Factually on YouTube Music? All my other podcasts have episodes but Factually seems to have no episodes :/

I hope it's just the app on my phone not working or something

I have spent 2 and a half days of my life listening to judge @iwriteok.bsky.social's voice this year. Highlight of the year was my friend's former boss getting 2 episodes dedicated to him.

The Short N Sweet tour is the kinda thing that Sabrina Carpenter can do completely all over again on the 25th anniversary and it will still sell out.

I do love that anime will sometimes be like "yeah our first anime adaptation wasn't great and another adaptation that's closer to the manga would be better" and that's sometimes just enough to have a new series made. 20 years from now there could be a new Game of Thrones adaptating the AI books

The post office should deliver on Sunday and pick a different day during the week to not deliver. People tend to be home on Sunday, kinda annoying that of the 2 days during the week that people are usually home the post office only does deliveries on one of them.

I don't think I will ever fully get over the fact that Alive 2017 was never a thing. Random Access Memories got Album of the Year and absolutely no live shows followed it's release??? Heartbreaking to this day.

Although the Mexican flag doesn't adhere to the vexologist definition for what makes a great flag because: "it's not easy for a child to draw." Is utterly lost on the fact that a bird duking it out with a snake is so freaking cool that it deserves a place of honor for what makes a great flag.

Lego should release a botanicals set that is exclusively just pieces that help with making arrangements. Should include a lot of different stem lengths, would also be really nice if there could be stems that are a little more flexible.

They always seem like incredibly small things but perhaps the things we do truly mean as a society actually do show up in things like what colors used to paint a crosswalk, or what streets are named, or making statues of what we deem should be remembered, or displaying a sign that welcomes everyone.
