Here's my list of games that I completed in 2025 (barring the red one which was abandoned). One game kind of missing was an old emulated ZX Spectrum game called JetPac - its from an era where some games just didn't have a credits screen but I did manage to loop through the levels. #pileofshame

Been a while since I’ve finished a game (blame metaphor refantazio which is taking forever! and ball-x-pit) but here’s the end of credits screen for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment - a surprisingly long one, still have loads of post game content to deal with too #pileofshame

Bit of a passive aggressive message there imho! That’s the ending of story mode of Dr Mario 64, yet another puzzle game from the switch virtual console library that I got a bit obsessed with for one evening #pileofshame

I’m in two minds about posting this here, depends if you count UFO50 as a collection or a single game. In either case I’ve seen some credits roll so according to my rule it deserves a post. This was the end of ‘Magic Garden’… only 49 more games to go, maybe... #pileofshame

So, this is the end of the story mode of Kirby’s Star Stacker on the SNES. Credits have rolled! It’s another spin-off/blatant copy of the ‘Panel De Pon’ series I thin? I need to stop playing these, they are a bit addictive #pileofshame

I was in two minds about putting Blippo+ here as it’s more an experience than a game. Anyway, acting is a bit overly am-dram in places and I wish it had a bit more interactivity, but it kept me engaged. #pileofshame

So that’s American Arcadia done. It’s what I like to think of a palette cleanser game: nice little short story, interesting ideas - not entirely sure it sticks the landing but hey, it’s a palette cleanser #pileofshame

Bit odd having a score at the end of this one, but there are tricks I guess. Anyway, Sword of the Sea done - nice palette cleanser that can be knocked out over an afternoon. Almost perfect mix of Journey, Tony Hawks and Ecco the Dolphin #pileofshame

So that’s the main bit of Donkey Kong Banaza done, clearly still loads to do as I only have about half of the collectibles. Great game, really unique. The fact it has one jump button and three punch buttons tells you a lot! #pileofshame

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom complete. Actually finished this a week ago, great game - kind of felt like I was cheating at a few points! Although to be honest, I think that’s what the game wants you to do half of the time #pileofshame

This is the rather stark ending screen of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. I’ve got an actual physical notebook with 27 pages of frantic looking notes from my play through, it’s that sort of game! Can’t believe I missed The Black Arts Coffee Club though! #pileofshame

Monument Valley 2: a freebie game from Netflix that’s annoyingly leaving soon. Beautiful game, kind of wish it was a bit harder #pileofshame

I’ve had ‘a highland song’ on my Switch for ages. I really wanted to like it, it’s got lovely graphics for one. But sadly I could not get on with it: the pacing didn’t feel right and some of the narration got on my nerves. Made it to the credits but am in no mood to play through again #pileofshame

WarioWare: Move It! done… kind of. Doesn’t take long to get to the credits at all, probably loads left to do. Very silly game, some of the motion controls are a bit ropey but it gets by on charm #pileofshame

Pikmin 4: Played until the fake ending, but since that showed the credits I’m counting this one as done. Played 17 odd hours so that’s a fair amount! Good game, like to play more but the pile of shame beckons #pileofshame

It’s been a while but I am playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is taking a while 😳. I’ve also just finished the first Ori game - a lovely looking game let down by some horrible, horrible chase sequences. Was very close to uninstalling this at certain points. #pileofshame

Another mobile game (I’m also playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth at the moment but that’ll take a while to finish!). I have a feeling I’ve played monument valley before but not 100% sure. Very pretty and relaxing #pileofshame

A mobile game that I actually finished! Arranger is a great idea, didn’t quite stick the landing though - missions were a bit vague at times, and a map would have been nice #pileofshame

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Finished this one on my Switch - sublime bit of platforming! My save file ended up saying I had 71% completion which seems respectable. #pileofshame

Baseline time. Here's the games I "finished" (ie saw through to the credits) in 2024, exceptions being the ones in red where I gave up. Obvisouly too old for From Software games 😂
