Last week in #foraging was pokeweed! We look forward to it and it’s my middle kid’s favorite foraged greens. My only lament is that it cooks down as bad as spinach lol. I’ll be back out to collect more once these floodwaters recede.

And last (first?) but not least: Pokeweed, Phytolacca Americana. This takes special prep with the #foraging season being spring before the flower stalks develop. Prepared the #Koreanfood way as pokesagi muchim. Poisonous if not done right! Made and devoured several batches with my family.

Wild chives, Allium schoeneprasum. #Foraged and prepared the #Koreanfood way as dallae muchim. Very tasty and i ended up collecting and making this several times last spring!
