What people don’t seem to understand is this vote today, coupled with the “investigation” thing sanitized this whole thing for everyone. Congress got to say they support release, Trump is protected by the perpetual investigation blocking the release. Tadaaaa. That’s why he told them to vote for it.

Dems could have attempted to avoid a pocket veto by controlling the vote timing by delaying the new Rep’s final signature by a couple of days. But, yet again, they were outsmarted.
This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

This is one of those days where it is incredibly frustrating to be someone who understands how Congress, the legislative process, and political strategy work. People are way excited over something that is likely not happening, but no one will listen.

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.
