Je ne sais pas trop comment en parler tellement c'est insignifiant par rapport à ce que d'autres vivent .
Ces derniers jours j'étais à Odessa, Ukraine, une ville romantique de bord de mer.

Huge thank you and congrats to @domfarolino.com ❤️

I've helped / worked on / watched this through different standards bodies for more than 10 years now. ☠️

(I'm going to have a lot of work now to adapt RxJS to this 😅)

Hi! 👋

I’m Kat. I’ve been a professional dev for over 15 years. I maintained the NPM CLI for 5 of those. I sat in TC39. I work at Microsoft. I’m self taught w/a film degree and no formal CS edu.

Are you new to tech? What do you wish you could ask some1 like me?

Literally AMA
I wonder if early-in-career folks would appreciate folks like me doing little AMAs on here.

What is the origin of the word "mainframe"? Digging through archives, I traced it back to 1953. The IBM 701 computer was built from "frames": power frames, a storage frame, a drum frame, and the main frame. This 1953 drawing from the Installation Manual shows the dimensions of the "main frame". 1/n

BREAKING: The Senate has just voted to confirm Pete Hegseth, a drunken, out-of-control abuser, as the weakest Secretary of Defense in history.

This was the closest vote for SecDef, needing the weird couch guy to break the tie.

It's a sad day for America.
Hegseth is a DUI hire.

Naming things is hard. If you don’t know what to call a component in your design system, you can start by looking at what other teams are doing.

Component Gallery is a great resource for this: component.gallery/components/

…But don’t assume that something is correct, just because it’s popular.
