Been waiting for this!

I think I thought of it when the news did a poll on who’s to blame for the govt shutdown. 60% said democrats.
How does it even go to double digits? Especially in Seattle. Though it IS a Sinclair owned station, so may be a touch skewed

But I really think that it is down to give in and capitulate to him, or fight back.

Nope, with my dad at the drive in. Was the first horror movie I saw. And had nightmares from it ;)

Agree with the second part of that. I am almost 60 and I doubt that it will get fixed before I die.

So much to undo. And I thought things were on the upward trajectory too.

I know, when i was younger, i told my parents that I was going to die before I reached 30.
Actually surprised I didn’t :) (stupid military and college decisions… usually involving alcohol)

But I really don’t want to get old in this increasingly dystopian society.

Hard to just pick 1 thing out to upset about, as there is hardly ever anything that could be considered good news.
And at one point, i was hopeful for the future, and thought we were making strides in acceptance of others

Then we are taking care of my SIL, who has Alzheimers, and am not sure what we would do without Medicaid.

This thing with Social Security is beyond f’ed up though, I mean I know I have been paying into it for over 4 decades, and it would be nice to get some of it back :) Wont be a lot, but still.. is something :)

Didn’t get anything cool at 40 or 50 but when 60 hits, I am sure that I will get something great!

I am guilty of that. Reading the back of hamburger helper deciding the least amount of time it needs to simmer. Oh 10 mins vs 20? We will go with this one.

Cute ;) my dogs are all bundled under blankets. Last estimate I have hear was some time today for my area of kirkland. But who knows
