I suspect that we will have another civil war before I die. Hope not but I can’t see the republicans backing down.
This could change after Trump dies, which may not be long given his apparent health, or lack of.
May be worse, but I don’t think any replacement has the cult following he has.

Daughter got me a Filson gift card for Xmas. Trying to decide on what to get. Like the tin lined cruiser jackets but trying to decide whether the short or long ones are better.
Am NOT a outdoors person so won’t be functional for that use ;)

Earlier this week new lenses came in for the Apple Vision Pro. Along with the Annapro v2
So decided to take advantage and watch a movie on the headset as my wife is watching YouTube food reviews :)

Wife is running the NYC Marathon this morning
Am proud of her
Especially since there are multiple marathons coming up in the next couple of months.
Am home taking care of doggies, keeping couch warm

Finally my eye is feeling a bit decent after Wednesdays cataract surgery
Had a two-fer
The gel injected behind the eye wasn't going down super quick, so eye was still swollen.
Then had a wound on the eye from removing the sterile drapes.
So much pain.
But better now and vision is better

Definitely has been challenging here trying to have a SIL with dementia living with us.
Would be nice if the other brothers and sisters would step forward and help a little. Or at the very least not to make it harder.
Trying to maintain our own life despite this.

Go in this week for a cataract surgery
I had a retinal detachment a few years ago, and though they fixed that, it caused the cataract to form
On the plus side, they will fix the vision in that eye.
On the other hand, will make using is Vision Pro harder for a bit

We all got the Covid booster and flu shot yesterday. Course we had a meltdown here. We are taking care of my SIL due to dementia. My other SIL is anti vax, so convinced her she shouldn't get the shot
Worked through that though, but wasn't easy.
