If there is another medical outbreak of anything over the next 4 years, the US is going to be wiped out. There are already enough people who don't believe in vaccinations, but to have an anti-vaxer in charge is scary. They will also not close borders etc, so everyone else will have to.

You cannot expect private power companies to invest money to reduce their profits. Their shareholders are their first concern, so they will always pay dividends and only invest in maintaining the status quo or improving profitability.
