I've never been a huge fantasy fan but with art by @chriswildgoose.bsky.social and a story by @gwillow.me? C'mon now. I just read all of Vol 1 and will probably reread it again later just to take my time with the amazing visuals.
So if you don't usually read fantasy, you'll still love this 🙌🏻

About 25 years ago I posted a script for review on a platform that didn't allow replies to feedback. The reviewer quoted the action line "she starts awake" with "I think you meant starts TO awake" and took a whole 2 points off for it.
They were wrong and I don't wish them well 🙏🏻

And anyway, I guess we have three cats now cos this girl has a terminal diagnosis and I volunteered to take her so she could live as a queen for the remainder of her time.
She is confused by Biscuit, she likes Quail, and she does not enjoy Kestrel, so she fits right in.

Then I was worried that when Biscuit passes, Quail would be left alone. So we got another cat, Kestrel (these names were not planned, weirdly). And I don't know if you all know about ginger cats but jfc. Anyway, Quail likes him but he doesn't compare to Biscuit.

My 17yo dog (Biscuit) was going a bit blind and a bit deaf and I wanted him to have company when we weren't home but another dog could be too much energy for him so we rescued Quail.
2 years later and she's never far from him. Even sits and watches him through the screen door when he goes outside.
