yes it's that Balfour
2025 marked the anniversaries of the opening (1895) & closing (1935) of the Galway-Clifden railway. Arthur J. Balfour's album documents the railway's construction.

Relatedly, I struggle to grasp repeated characterisation of the Drogheda attack as an 'alleged arson'.

Is there something about the ubiquitous footage wherein the arson's intent appears ambiguous to pol. corr.s

Surely the event itself is verifiable

Our popular walking tour returns!

For @culturenightdub.bsky.social, we'll be tackling the twin issues of militarisation and finance by bringing people on a trip through the IFSC.

Our tour will bring a cheerful spirit of resistance to illuminate the difficult conditions of our times!

Great to see IPSC are going ahead with this demo!

It's important to mark our victories, clarify why we fought, and celebrate together.

This morale boost is essential; we can use the energy to push the OTB over the line.

When we mobilise together, we can win big victories!
We will still be at the Central Bank tomorrow, to mark this big moment for our campaign and to reiterate the demand for an end to all Irish state complicity in Israel’s apartheid and genocide against Palestinians. No genocide bonds here or anywhere. #StopFundingGenocide

Ireland is so dependent on US capital, in particular big tech. From the 'necessity' of data centres to Ireland's energy transition to the economic reliance of local councils on DC commercial rates. This is not natural or inevitable and it needs to change.

As workers and tenants, we are increasingly hit with rocketing rents and state failures in the provision of public housing.

We need to stand up and bring the fight to landlords who profit from our declining living standards.
