I understand where they'd be coming from due to how Bitcoin has been associated with this administration but the Google employee(s) rug pulling the dev list held together by a couple of volunteers for a mostly disorganized open source community is such a prejudiced, petty and unethical move.

One simple thing you could do to test the latest Bitcoin Core release candidate is to try the `-natpmp` option at home.

This will attempt to open a port on your router. Check the first log lines to see if it was successful.
