I would agree that China is the best current alternative. . . but that may be just because China can play the underdog right now. They can play the good guy because America already has the villain role locked up.

I would agree. . . or are least have some optimism for since, as an American, I'm firmly convinced that humanity's best shot of moving forward is if America fell. That said the fall of an empire tends to have enormous consequences and America will have to be handled delicately.

If strangers arguing with you has become a primary source of socialization then the threat of a block is meaningful. It's not healthy. . . but it's the internet.

So long as America is at the top of the hegemony then it can't really be alienated though. If China is the only real challenger to become the top of the ladder then white-majority states will be more likely to back it. . . and America also has the financial power to coax other nations as well.

That only works if the people that can stop them are incentivized to stop them. When every leader your country has ever had is a war criminal then criminality becomes a matter of convenience.

Well. . . it's a pretty moot point either way. That said Hitler was more than happy to throw his rowdies to the curb when the German military were willing to side with him. Never underestimate a fascists willingness to be lazy.

We'll never really know if that strategy would've worked thanks to the DNC moving to try and bring in Republican voters but it's an interesting thing to consider.

Whether this presidency is being led by a group of internet trolls or legitimately useful people who know how marketable it is to present as internet trolls the results will be the same.
