This is exactly what ai won't give you. The short term dopamine shot when you see a pretty picture may be nice but you're missing out entirely on the pure euphoria that is noticing your long term improvement, gaining confidence of your own skills, the feel of being competent at something.
Went through my 2024 art folder and I started to cringe at some of the art which is a good sign because it means I still evolve as an artist and even when I don't feel it on the daily there's always room for improvement. But on the other I feel sad that some drawings look more wonky than I remember

Having to uproot and move to new spaces is actually super harmful for artists, especially those of us who rely on our art for income.
It can take a long time to build your following as an artist, and you will have to rebuild it every time you move.

I don't think motivating people to move to other platforms to avoid the stupid censorship rules is a good solution. Quite the opposite. There is NO SAFE space for artists nowadays, if we don't fight back this will only get worse and worse
