If a candidate wakes up in a vacuum with a Nazi tattoo and hasn't removed it with their own teeth before succumbing to lack of oxygen, I'm not voting for them.

I agree with his assessment of the problem with “take-based social media”, though I disagree with his general claim about the economy. I think his focus on median households insufficiently reckons with the bifurcation of the economy and sometimes focuses too much on consumer goods over housing.

He was swearing in members of the military, so that part does make sense. I mean, him being President, swearing in military at a football game, and really just him being free to walk around don't make sense. But the "state your name" does.

While I’m an atheist, I think it’s worth noting that humans can’t exist in a vacuum. A baby left alone will die, and human societies have had some religious practices as far back as we can find. Even chimpanzees exhibit some ritual behaviour, especially famously in the presence of waterfalls.

Maybe both. Substitute murder gesture for now. Somebody told Trump that the cartels could strike back. Maybe he’ll risk that after much more consolidation, but for now he’s theatrically stabbing poor fishermen.
