Hi. I’ve been asked many times if I have telepathy because, I think, I’m disabled and those disabled tropes in stories pervade the zeitgeist. Plus I’m observant but not in a visual way (my seeing eye dog does the visuals for me).

@senatorwong.bsky.social the Nobel committee is clear: they want to send a message to all to use ballots NOT bullets. Trump, Netanyahu etc: they’re murdering people. I’m so disappointed in you. If you have to do this ”because party” then it’s time to leave the ALP. #auspol

They both are but right now I’d be really happy if Meteor (ginger menace) stayed away or at least where he is right now because a minute ago he was threatening my belly. I’m post-op major surgery and in a lot of pain without him prodding me, lol. But settling there is nice.

My dog says my place in the scheme of things is by her side and NOT with cats on my lap. I’m guessing your dog probably thinks similarly.

Kirk’s killer is Robinson, a white groyper from Utah. He’s not even left wing: he hated Kirk because Kirk wasn’t fascist enough and, based on fellow groyper Lara Loomer’s recent post, was considered a traitor to Trump. I was surprised over the last few months when Trump didn’t turn on Kirk.

I think that has been the case. Kirk was a wild card. Trump started to see him as either an enemy or a liability. Hell, I was amazed M*sk lasted that long. The only surprise with Kirk was that Trump did not immediately and publicly turn on Kirk sooner.

I am seriously unwell and waiting for doctors to organise my surgery right now. So my two most favourite people in the world are going out without me: hubby usually takes my seeing eye dog with him when he goes out. Look at this happy pupper! #dogs (Image: cheeky smile)

More places should be dog friendly. I get that not all dogs are suitably socialised but wouldn’t it be great if more (well behaved) dogs could accompany their humans. Silkie feels sad for them.

Australian news this morning: the militia had smoke billowing out, apparently from within or right next to their ranks. They didn’t seem phased but I suspect their might be consequences down the line. They’re not in hasmat suits so are partially exposed and will be exposed when they undress

Australia is watching developments in LA. Horrifying to see what appears to be tear gas FLOODING peaceful protestors, with pseudo-military groups masked, no IDs, in mismatched “uniforms”. Distinctly different from the National Guard and the Police.

The LIberal Party are NOT good economic managers. Last time they were in, they flouted laws and protocols re conflicts of interest, tenders etc, lined their own pockets and their mates’, and tripled Australia’s debt. PUT LIBERALS LAST.

Silkie says hi. We’re chillin’ on the couch. She’s not a fan of clothes. DIL and her mum bought her a Chinese jacket (they’re Cantonese). It looks SUPER cute on but I think Silkie interprets it as a harness (she’s a seeing eye dog) so she partied when came off. Only wears it for formal family dos.
