Started drawing this for bad comic day but ended up going a little ham with isekai dad #comics
Black and white comic. A dad walks through the drink section of a supermarket. "Alright, I just need some milk." He opens a fridge door. "Everyone knows the freshest is at the back." He reaches his arm over three increasingly fresh cartons of milk. "Just... A little... Further..." He touches a mysterious glowing carton with odd symbols on it. POP! His eyes are shut, then open. I've been told this is useful, so here's a quick explanation of how I think about space while drawing the human figure
An example drawing and a diagram explaining how I view space while drawing people. Summary: It all comes down to relative size of body parts to each other. Imagine you are looking at the scene and realize what is closest to you. That should be relatively the biggest. I say relatively because usually your foot is about the size of your head. In the example drawing, the foot is bigger than the head because it is closer to you as the viewer.
