Great video

I'd really like to see one on Border Patrol. IMO that would be arguably even more interesting. Police cowboys running amok

Pondering her recent 90 degree turn against Trump, there's probably a good chance she's doing it to set herself up for a presidential run on 28

She knows Trump is unpopular and is only going to get more unpopular. So going against him is probably a shrewd move to set up for the post Trump era

100%

By portraying them as stoic and professionally capable, it made that element both a) very believable while also b) terribly chilling

Is that sort of similar to what you're saying?

Great stuff, Charlie. Ten minutes in on YouTube

One thing: please consider adding YouTube chapters

IMHO they're essential these days. They act like a map for the pod, give listeners control, lower friction for searching, and allow for jumping, skipping, replaying

The AI Bubble inflated by a dereliction of duty from those meant to seek out and publish the truth. LLMs have been sold on myth and outright lies about what they do or will do, and when the bubble bursts, retail investors will be left with the consequences.

Excuse my ignorance. Anyone know if he says "see America go dark" or "see America go down" in that CNN clip?

Can this be overcome? Can we contact these reps? Or has the ship sailed?

NYC is going to become a city devoid of children. Because most of the families with children will have moved out due to the cost of housing, just like SF

Sht is depressing

Conor, would you be able to briefly explain why? This seems like an astute insight but unfortunately am a little ignorant on the econ front

Specifically, the improvement on inflation aspect is difficult to understand

Shoot. This seems like a good anecdote. I've read it three times but cannot for the life of me understand it. (The African American man says he is slave hunting?)

Anyone happen to understand?

Ferguson is correct that gerrymandering is bad. And most people agree

But if he wants to ever have a chance to abolish gerrymandering, he needs to gerrymander

Mistaken views like this from Ferguson put our democracy and the rule of law at risk

State Senate President Bill Ferguson is wrong to reject redistricting in Maryland, which puts him at odds with Gov. Wes Moore and his constituents, writes Sean Gordon of Baltimore.
