The pace of their arrests is fascinating. You can see the no criminal charges cohort -- in green -- starts to fall off and flatten in the spring

Then the Miller Home Depot freakout. And arrests of people with no criminal charges skyrockets

Joe Kernen said a few months ago that if Zohran wins then Wall Streeters and elites are going to be cast out onto the ice like in Dark Knight Rises lol

Ezra Klein thinks Dems remain relatively unpopular. (7-8 points less so than they were at this time in 2017)

But that's being driven mostly by Democratic voters upset at their own party who are likely still going to vote Dem

I'm puzzled as to how Klein doesn't know this

So, leave aside that the Republican party is anti rule of law, anti fact, anti science, pro dictator, pro corruption etc etc

What democrats meet the criteria of Dem Socialist and highest profile in country?

1. AOC
2. Bernie is an independent but can count him
3. Zohran

Is that it? Anyone else?

Obviously you could keep doing this exercise but last one:

Cincinnati Enquirer: Cincy football the top story followed by No Kings protest

I genuinely value much of the NYT's reporting but I think I'm going to email them tomorrow requesting to cancel

The non coverage of No Kings is not accidental
October 19, 2025 at 2:53 PM
Denver Post, San Francisco Chronicle, NY Daily News: No Kings was the top story

Long Island Newsday: Santos commutation was the top story and then No Kings

I looked at 38 papers. The NYT was one of only a few not to have it as the top story and photo

The handful of exceptions were pretty much all places with a big D1 football game

I genuinely don't understand why the NYT is so reticent to give coverage to one of the largest protests in history

One thing that's interesting is that special elections and odd year elections benefit Democrats and disfavor Republicans

Less engaged and less likely voters are more Republican, and a larger turnout means a more GOP electorate

Big picture, in the last decade, 76% of extremist murders are ofc from right wing extremists. 4% were LW

In terms of Kirk murder, it seems that he's not RW. For example, asked by his LGBTQ partner why he did it, he said "I had enough of his hatred"

Just looking to share the info as I understand it
