Artist, multifandom geek, lgbtq+, disabled, anthropology & history nerd. Always up for pigment talks! Too many crafts. UU & Pagan. (they/varies)
... That is a VERY clunky way to do this, sorry, but I'm also not gonna cut out crediting the artist who created the print. >.>

Silly is one word for that... >_<
Nice to have notes from a sympathetic person to take with you, though!

Beignets are best enjoyed fresh & hot, IMO, and have a very pleasantly distinctive smell. I try to avoid having amazing smelling things at home that she used to love but is not allowed to eat anymore. (Celiac.)
She's never been keen on filled donut type things, and paczki are room temp or cool. \o/

Generally speaking, IF I manage to grate the amount of cheese for recipes, my hands no longer work well enough to do anything else. Including the rest of the recipe.

Disabilities are fun. 🙃

The discord route also gives digital attendees a snowball's chance in hell of getting a question answered. (*waves in immunocompromised*)
I heard there were people in the ballrooms entering questions for people seated near them who didn't have a phone (or signal). \o/

Filipe, the advice is literal, not figurative. :) The lens on the top can start a fire if sun shines through it for too long. (And one HAS in the past. Fortunately, wool is difficult to ignite and smoldered first.) The same is true of very clear crystal balls, and most magnifying lenses.

That is a brilliant trick. Enjoyable art, learnin' stuff, contributing to the upkeep, and comfortable temperature existence.

Ahhh, yes the lower humidity element makes a lot of sense! For Southern conventions, I'd warn friends coming in from other regions for that you're going to be hotter than the thermometer suggests, sweating is less effective, plz hydrate.
Was v. glad my outdoor summer job in 100+ temps was lifeguard.

That seems wise.

Years ago I traveled to southern Nevada in the middle of summer, using a wheelchair w/ black anodized rims, and tried to go places during the day.

I do not recommend this in the Southwest. My cut-off leather gloves were not adequate protection. Black metal quickly soaked up enough sun to burn me.

Good to know!

Oxyclean *can* bleach color if you leave it in to soak too long, though.

What's exogenous protein and how's it different from optimal protein?

... I did not realize linen bedsheets were even a thing anymore. I thought it was all cotton or artificial fibers. (Or a blend.) Fancy tablecloths, yes? I am o.O at the idea of how expensive linen bedsheets must be though...

... does that story end in a fractured arm?

I thought that referred to a lady's perspiration.
(Which I've always had trouble even saying with a straight face.)

I've said it and said it and said it:
You are not owed the ability to make professional level art.

Arguing that AI is necessary for disabled people to make art 1) ignores swaths of disabled artists (hi) and 2) ignores the adaptive tech that exists without ripping off artists.

Yeeeah it prompts you for adding people before it even drops you into the profile and wander around stage. I didn't actually add anyone while in Tutorial Mode, but I can't recall if I added a profile pic and bio before or after following some people... hopefully it'll update the icon retroactively?
