I'm by no means saying that FansHobby's Darkwing is a bad figure, but I am saying that it's given me a renewed appreciation of Dreadwind's quality. Quite glad to have the pair together at last: still need to sticker up Darkwing's wings, but that's for another day!

Love Newage Haraldr. It's far from a perfect Straxus (my platonic ideal for the character would be somewhat more stout) but it's damn good.

I really love the cool color palette that G1 Decepticons settled into around 1987 or so, and Sixwing in the Decepticon color scheme exemplifies that perfectly, despite coming a good decade and a half later to the party.

I don't do a whole lot of Warhammer-y these days, but the thought of getting my hands on either a Dracosan or a Malcador as a one-off armor project really appeals. Being able to build these without bending tread walls back into shape will be fantastic.

Got back into Transformers in a big way last year: starting with a couple Newage figures in January, worked my way up to something like 114(ish) by the end of the year. Here's my top 10! Just some absolutely brilliant toys spanning the breadth of the official and unofficial, from 1985 until today.
