Sweden is a huge country that would need many thousands of wolves to ensure health of its ecosystems. Reducing population to a couple of hundreds means the species will remain ecologically absent.

Difficult to disagree with this take on the vote on the protection status of #wolves under the #BernConvention. As many experts have emphasised, the decision is unfortunately not based on science and it does little to actually help farmers (whose challenges go far beyond wolf predation). 1/

When I joined KPMG in Sweden a few months ago, I did so with the task of helping to position our sustainability practice as a trusted advisor on #biodiversity and #pollution. Back then, one of my first meetings was an interesting brainstorming on digital twins for biodiversity assessment. 1/n
