I do wonder whether the near misses between aircraft that are being reported frequently these days have always been going on but weren't considered newsworthy, or whether there's been an actual uptick in these incidents.

Okay, the penny thing actually makes sense. All the rest is a dumpster fire, but we should have gotten rid of pennies ages ago.

This is what I've been saying all along. The courts only have as much power over the Executive Branch as the Executive Branch allows them to have.

Read the article, though, because it's even worse than I'd thought. The courts could "rule against" Trump and still ruin everything.
As lawyers righteously file multiple lawsuits against Trump & Musk’s coup, we must nonetheless recognize: the courts can’t “save” us. They won’t be the backstop protecting us from this takeover. The only thing that can save us is us.
The Courts Can’t Stop the Trump-Musk Coup
While the lawsuits being filed against the Trump-Musk administration are righteous, they will not “save” us from this nightmare.

Look around you. What do you see? Whom do you hear? How many of the people you'll encounter on social media today would you trust, right this second and with no preparation, to watch your kids for a weekend while you're away?

USAID is how the richest country in the history of the world spends less than 1% of its budget to make the world a little less hellish outside its own borders.
Less than 1%.
Trump and Musk say that's evil and wrong and must be shut down.

TL; DR: Trump's fixing to do a bunch of illegal shit and wants to make sure there's no one not personally loyal to him is in a position to try and stop him.

This weekend, he illegally fired remove inspectors general he doesn't trust to support him from more than a dozen federal agencies.

Everyone: Don't worry! The courts will stop Trump.

History: The courts have no power to stop the Executive Branch unless the Executive Branch lets them. Ask the ᎠᏂᏴᏫᏯ (Cherokee).

Walk down the hall to the end and turn left. That's my room. The door's always never closed so I can hear Mom if she needs me. You'd think it would be the same temperature as the rest of the house. It's consistently 3 or 4 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the rest of the house.

To everyone who said, "he didn't really mean those things," I ask

ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION TO HIM ALREADY DOING ALL THE THINGS HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO?

On his very first day in office, Trump resumed doing what he does best: blithely trashing the country and the world and attacking people I love

Very new to this platform, so imagine my surprise when I was followed by people I'd never heard of. So I clicked to see who they were and . . . sigh. Sorry, sexy single ladies. I'm Asexual and much too jaded to think you took one look at my fledgling profile and thought, "Ooooh! Hot stuff!" 😂
