If I was ever forced to post the 10 commandments, I'd also post tenets from other religions alongside them. Just for extra spice, I'd post the tenets of the Satanic Temple RIGHT next to them, and Thr Satanic Temple would be in big, fancy, stylized, eye catching letters.

It's funny you post this. I'm teaching my nine year old niece dnd and when there was an option for non-violence, she's just like "I wanna keep fighting" with a big grin on her face.

Following on this, give more things lair actions. I had an encounter on a ship that was essentially a fight against skeletons, but there was also a huge tentacles beast they had to defeat. I treated the huge beast as a "Lair action" with hp. It either slammed on the ship or summoned more skeletons.
