Apologies to my followers I'm going to get annoying and post marketing things for the next month or two.

LOOK GARY THERE I AM. I didn't even pay for this promotion. Though I hope being bundled with a bunch of romance books doesn't accidentally skew my readers into expecting mine to be romance.

Sowing: "I'll just design the front for now. I'll extend the design to the back later."

Reaping: "Well this is a lot of work."

I’m going to flip my shit. Would you like me to enter my name another five times just for good measure?

The best VtM "covers" (or key art) are Reckoning of New York and the original Bloodlines 2. They're both pretty nice, but I wasn't sure which elements, if any, would work for my book. Eventually I decided to let the title carry the vampire angle on its own.

I forgot to mention that I also looked at Vampire: The Masquerade's book covers, since that was my biggest inspiration. But frankly, they're all really bad.

Oh huh. I never thought about this before.

Why is electronic rock superstar Klayton Celldweller lying dead in a casket being sold as a stock photo for $400?

This is probably my one area where I go way outside of what's normally accepted as proper writing style. Until a human editor tells me to cut it out, you can take my strong verbs out of my cold dead heads.

Using ProWritingAid to quickly self-edit this short story before submission, but I'm finding myself ignoring most of its suggestions. Ranges from "no, passive voice is fine there" to "no, that's dialog, it's allowed to be wordy" to... whatever this is. #writingCommunity

This feels like the writing equivalent of getting a hole-in-one.

Writing a scene in the sequel where I answer a dangling question from the first book. This teaser just about sums it up.

Anyway, here's what the QR code for just encoding a game of Connections looks like. It's insane how big these things get with just a little bit of data. I might've been able to make it smaller with some smart data compressing techniques but I haven't done that since college.

I can't believe "doing research on vampires" is something I do regularly now, but here we are.

Anyway, to answer this person's question: make them vampires. Duh.
