Absolutely love finding papaver somniferum in the wild. They are glorious. And huge. And tasty when ripe and made into pies. And also used to make opium which is why it's pretty rare to stumble upon them.
Blessed is the country where they don't have to be locked up.

Absolutely love finding papaver somniferum in the wild. They are glorious. And huge. And tasty when ripe and made into pies. And also used to make opium which is why it's pretty rare to stumble upon them.

I first made the sun&moon earrings about 15 years ago, when I was starting to work with polymerclay. They were quite popular, as I recall.
Today, I made them again, but in brass (very thin brass, I will add, because earrings should be comfortable).
Some things never change, I guess :)

Thank you! They are worn over your ears, kinda like glasses but in reverse, if that makes sense :) They are really lightweight so you don't get tired from wearing them (as my ears tend to do with long earrings), and they don't require piercings. Here's me wearing these cuffs in a different color:

Optimizing my work process by starting several crowns at once and then switching between them instead of doing each from start to finish one at a time. (As in, doing it on purpose & not because the ADHD fairy is taking me on a little journey 😅)
