What sounds better - Vinyl or CD? Well, here's interesting article that compares how CD mastering has evolved with vinyl, using some well known albums. My only thought on this, is that high frequency response from vinyl tends to reduce the more it is played.

OK I'm going to make some "academics can actually be humans too" starter packs. Here's my concepts, reply with a number if you want to be included:

1) Academics who listen to vinyl records
2) Academics who post about but don't study food
3) Academics who love but don't research art museums

Just an observation on music consumption. Since the creation of streaming services and playlists, the feeling of the listener belonging to music communities has diminished and I don’t think that it will ever return. The music landscape is now too fragmented.

The best feature of Twitter was being able to see trends etc. Embdy know how to easily do that here?
