Dear assistant also played Wandering Towers, which was immensely enjoyable! If only that Black Keep would stop running away…

And if you spot a gentleman wearing a shirt with my symbol, that is most likely my assistant, who I sent in my stead. Feel free to ask for photos and tag us!

Even when using a module, don’t be afraid to toss in random elements! Often you’ll get deeper, more engaging gameplay.

Brindlewood Bay is a good one if you like cozy mysteries/cozy horror. It’s designed more or less like a series of 1-shots w/ same characters. Think of a session as an individual episode in a TV show w/ a larger over-arching plot. Like Murder She Wrote in the USA or kinda like Miss Marple.

I can give you some other systems you might like to look into if you’re interested.

D&D is the 800 lb gorilla in the room, but by no means is it the only, or even necessarily the best, game in town. Mechanics differ. Focus differs. Genres differ. Find the one(s) that work for you.

It is somewhat harder to find groups for non-D&D games, yes, but not impossible by any means.

I have a slight ulterior motive since this is an indie publisher acct, but don’t be afraid of looking for other game systems as well! There are A TON of differently focused systems/games from space opera to hard scifi to westerns to horror to relationship dramas to period pieces, etc.

My local in-person gaming group scattered to the winds when COVID hit and online gaming is what kept/keeps us going strong.
