This book is HILARIOUS
I'm supposed to be editing a novella today (and for the rest of the month) and I found myself missing Kevin and Charlie, so I made a little video instead!

When Amazon launched in 1995, there were 5,500 indie bookshops in the U.S., with 7,000 locations. By May of 2023, that number had decreased to 2,185 indies & 2,599 locations.

When you purchase audiobooks via Libro.fm vs. Audible, you directly support indie bookshops. Let's make that number grow ❤️

I was talking to my dentist today about my chronic jaw pain, and when I said it was a little worse this go round, they asked me if I was more stressed than usual. And then we laughed and laughed.

So, it's totally okay to wear your mouth guard all day if you're giving yourself headaches.

Friendly reminder to 1. choose small, manageable action items that support our democracy (everyone can't do everything), 2. take time (10 min) to self-regulate, regularly (swinging is good), and 3. connect with people (because isolation makes everything feel futile, but communities open doors)

Remember, authors, you don’t have to click any links today that talk about romance written by people who don’t read or write romance.

Have a snack instead.

Currently reading: Madame President: The Extraordinary Journey of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf by Helene Cooper

About halfway through. It's intense. But the history of Liberia is very interesting, and so is Sirleaf's journey through it.

Well, this has never happened to me before, but apparently romance is not comforting enough right now, and I need to read non-fiction about absolutely gut-wrenching periods of history. But it's working!

In the meantime, call your representatives. Know your rights. Pick one thing you CAN do.
