Since I started seeing patients presenting with RTIs, I have had about 4 chest infections over the winter period, despite wiping things down and wearing masks. But I admit not as often as I should have.

I always feel privileged when a GP asks me to have a joint consultation to help with a patient with complex conditions.

The new BTS/NICE/SIGN asthma guideline is out, recommending a SABA-free pathway.

Asthma is a chronic airway disease. Any treatment should include drugs to reduce the underlying inflammation.

Salbutamol has no anti-inflammatory properties. So why use it?
