Still scanning stuff.

This is the page that leapt out to me and inspired the phrase, "we are indebted to grief, for it gives memory purpose" that I ended up using in a later work.

Then by chance I was staring at it on the show floor of Artist Alley at C2E2 at Mr. Perkins table.

I'm finally caving into some local peer pressure and slowly building out my CAF gallery.

Good opportunity to share some fresh scans of art. Figured someone may enjoy an Emma Kubert Cap.

If you are near Toledo or NW Ohio this November - January, go see my dad's astounding mezzotint work at @toledomuseum.bsky.social

All the prints are etchings in giant plates of copper.

I think my favorite moment during @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social 's media blitz was when he was asked to name a gay bar in NYC in the first thing that came into his head was Cubbyhole followed by "WLW BABY LETS GO"

When you remove all the noise, the joy and rancor, and the man-made complexity of the world, there is one fundamental truth:

We are the architects and protectors of each other's joy.

You know who you are with.

"One day I'lI become what I want
One day I will become a thought
that no sword or book can dispatch to the wasteland

A thought equal to rain on the mountain split open by a blade of grass
where power will not triumph and justice is not fugitive."

Right. Now.

A grandmother and 3 of her grandchildren slept in her car to have food in the morning. They parked at 9:45 pm. The food drive starts at 7 am, Nov. 1.

"She wanted to make sure," said James McGowan of Second Harvest. "She didn't know if she would have enough food to make it through the weekend."

Something for us all to think of and remember today.

If you can, research how you can help.

Families are suffering right now. Right now. Today. It's here.
