I think thats why all of them are looking at DoD. DoD has some applications that LLM's can take advantage of. However in DoD fashion it will be one winner and a bunch of losers. I feel this is why Elon wants to aim his AI projects at and cutting fed the workforce give him an boarding ramp

Yes and thats my worry. I'm PRO AI, but I'm also aware that expectations were set by tech bros. We use AI extensively, but we are failing to organize the data and but in place governance to make sure we use AI effectively. Also what we are paying for it in no way covers the cost of LLM vendors.

I honestly feel the winners will be the people who find "hope" of something and make an exit before a crash. AI has had 3 AI winters and now the expectations are so high that even with the progress we've had some will consider it a failure due to investments made.

I've been thinking about that for a while. Like they are in good position and have no real threats on the horizon. I also find interesting they are "digging" as far as their own LLM, which I'm wondering what their plans are. Truly a great position to be for the next few years.

I’m curious of what the cause was, it makes me think of a friend who works for a popular network vendor telling me they didn’t have the tools to test max bandwidth on some of their top end gear and netflix is a customer of theirs 🤷♂️

I thought that as first, but I’m not a developer so i just look for the easiest experience to get things done.
