Day 12:
Today almost took me out and I’m not even done yet! 🤣 That one tiny typo was the reason I just spent the last 3 hours yelling at computer and writings tons of additional unecessary code 🤣

Honey the consistency has been consistent and I’m loving it. I’m so thankful my mentor Lee Walker told me about @laracasts. Being able to learn #Php from someone like Jeffrey Way has been a huge blessing. He teaches you how to approach #programming in a #pragmatic way.

So now that I’m done rebuilding the project from memory that I deleted 5 months ago from a course that I was taking, I’m now to the part of the course where at the moment we’re just organizing the project and making it more manageable.

As a kid my mindset was if I didn’t get it right away then it wasn’t for me and I would give up. And sadly, that mindset followed me into adulthood. It’s the reason I gave up on many endeavors in my life including #programming.

Omg I am officially done typing my handwritten notes from my beginner #PHP course that I’m taking on #laracasts. Although it was a lengthy process it definitely paid off and did what it needed to do. That was the confidence boost that I needed!

Man today was a really productive day. I just wrapped up studying for today, was able to get 18 pages of notes typed up from my handwritten notes and now I’m about to enjoy a quick dinner and get ready to teach a knitting class to one of my closest friends back home in Monterrey.

I’ve decided to take my handwritten notes from my beginner #PHP course that I’m taking on #Laracasts and type them up. That way I can print them out and start a binder that’s dedicated to my #programming studies.

Honey I am retaking this course on #laracasts for the 4th time already because I kept stopping partially due to being insecure about being able to get my career back as a #webdeveloper and plus I had to fulfill orders for my #sidehustle as a knitter and crocheter.

One thing about me is that I’m a creature of habit and I stick to the same foods and coffee. So yesterday since I was low on coffee I grabbed #peetscoffee. Not only did I grab a new brand but I also am trying a new roast as well which is their #darkroast #majordickasonsblend.

My #2025recap! This entire year was a wonderful moment for me because it makes my first year not on dialysis and enjoying life with Milsgro my transplanted kidney. God has truly been good to me. Thanks everyone for making this an awesome year!
