HNY Bluesky! As parents of a one year old, plans tonight involve me trying to finish Metaphor before the year is out and my wife bingeing Virgin River on her iPad 🤘

Bloody hell that was good. Wasn’t sure what to make of Veilguard at the start as a series newcomer, but it’s up there with the best single player stories I’ve played in recent times.

Just had to perform the “difficulty downgrade of shame” on Metaphor:Refantasio because I hadn’t levelled the right skills before running into that stupid ice dragon fight 🥶🤡

Thought I’d see what all the fuss about Balatro was about and now I think I need to lock my phone in a drawer

Ok, it succeeded in growing on me and I’m loving it. Click into place after that first big decision and loving running around after the demon champions and hauntings with my spellblade build 🙌

Veilguard is definitely growing on me as I go along.

The game it reminds me of the most, for some reason is Assassins Creed Valhalla 🤔. Something about the voice acting and the character design, I think.

A lot more susceptible to a sad story about kids since I became a Dad 😟. This show has tremendous confidence in how it juggles its action and plot so far.
