Sgt. Allen Desailles Glover, a gunner with the 753BS, 458BG, completed six missions aboard the B-24 Liberator ‘Big-Time Operator’ (41-29288) before his forced retirement. After earning the Air Medal, Glover admitted to his crew that he was only 16 years old, having lied about his age to enlist.
