I present, my husband's grandmother's stuffing recipe, beloved by all the brothers, which I have, for reasons unknown (I guess because I married the eldest??) become the keeper of.
The "dry bread cubes" should be seasoned stuffing mix. The apples are not, IMHO, optional.

Listened to Ezra Klein’s interview w/Jake Tapper. I initially had a knee-jerk resistance to the discourse as the world burns currently, but it did interrogate my priors. Jake sounded genuinely mad at the Dem Party Leaders for lying to us. Not voting Republican anytime soon, but we need to do better.

Between the Bama Bowl discourse and the Aaron Rodgers fiasco, we haters are really ringing in the new year. I love Hatin’ and Being Right.

Anyone else feel like 2001: A Space Odyssey should have yielded more famous actors from the cast? Maybe it was on purpose, but you sort of wanna see someone like the actor who played Wormtongue/Doc from Deadwood showing up as a very young man in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Something like that…

Took 8- and 10-year-old sons to a sports bar yesterday to watch the Bears game. Despite the outcome, we had the best time. I then realized that for Gen X a sports bar with 20 televisions and beer on draft will someday be “dad will like it here” kind of venue. Felt cutting edge c. 2000, now VFW hall.
